I recommend you to run it from a USB because some of you have a built-in WIFI card then airmon-ng wont show you it, but if you run it from a USB it will.
Important: You need to set USB boot up to true in BIOS!

@Anon12356 Be careful to change your Wifi cards MAC address both for when you are picking up beacons, and also when you use it to surf the web as normal… You never know when you are hacking a military officer or other person who is likely to notice the attack and investigate. I’ve had some close calls before.

has anyone been able to get the wlan to show in a virtual box??? where is a video showing how to enable the WLAN in a virtual box????? i need the wlan to work to get the most out of backtrack for. all i see is the etho because it is bridged when i run the ifconfig command. can i still use all the cool tools on bt4 using the eth0 connection???
