“Build a better user experience” Is true. If you noticed people wanting to buy pants from your store, not shirts. Would you not open more opportunities? The info we “give” gmail is funny too. What does my gmail say? My e-mail (duh), my name. OH NO! x_X There is no setting personal info “in google” It’s in your browser. If I search “Peanut”. I’m given websites that contains what I typed to give you what you wanted, and companies with PPC (PayPerClick) ads that relate as well which make money. 🙂

Why do you think Google has so many features? Yes they’re huge so what? Yes they keep information processed through their servers SO WHAT. They’re a search engine which grew to much more than that. That’s not scary, that’s being fucking smart. If you purchase something online and submit your credit card number, google isn’t going to have record of this. The company you went to and yourself will. I say “blame yourself” if you buy into this. Story is rediculous.

  12. fortais2 says:

Haha! Of course Google is keeping this information. It’s like you willingly taking a survey and giving over your perspective. Google is going to keep that information to see what’s the broad range if peoples interests (what you search), where they are (I.P. Adress), and any relevance to the information kept. Not as if they know what you look like, cookies can be easily deleted, it’s a small cache file that just says “i’ve been here”. It’s not scary it’s rediculous, you can only blame yourself.

  13. nicholi2212 says:

Is this not scary Shit? Don’t forget The people who provide the bandwidth worldwide! Who does Google go to for tech support? It goes a little deeper.
Pure speculation on my part of coarse, but this “Conspiracy” scares me!

The title has nothing to do with the video like wdf.

  16. buttercupcake27 says:

well i don’t understand i hope explain to me one day everything the correct way not the left or the right way but the correct way about everything =)

  17. glubboy08 says:

I think it’s because google has become more than a search engine. They have developed so many innovative and FREE products and did it effectively. Google earth, picasa, Gmail to name a few. As for searching, it’s like they said in this video, it has has more urls then all of google’s competitors combined.

    fuck the government man viva-la-revolution

  21. PunkRockDependency says:

I dunno. I don’t see what all the fuss about Google is. Like, I don’t see what makes it better than any other search engine. Hence I find it overrated as a lot of people treat it like it is suprior to all the others…

  22. 880330145789 says:

why is it overated? mentioned in the video there are tons of services that google provide. but then again it is special cause we label google as special. GOOGLE this, google that.

  23. BillCDay says:

This is really funny to me. This is just my guess, but isnt it America, who is overrating America? Because we have such an insane reach media-wise? Or are other countries rating us beyond our cultural value? (and for the record we are in fact financially overvalued and have been for at least 13 years now.)

  24. PunkRockDependency says:

lol Maybe, but I find the others are about the same. Like I use Windows’ Live Search or w/e usually.

  25. roasticle says:

probably because it comes up with the most relevant results compared to any other search engine
